The DMC Action Network designed a series of Technical Assistance Seminars to further develop the expertise and leadership skills of local staff responsible for day-to-day operations of DMC reduction initiatives in Network sites. These intensive seminars provided practical guidance through information- and idea-sharing among peers, practice applications, and presentation opportunities. Staff members responsible for developing and implementing post-disposition reform strategies in Action Network sites traveled to Washington, DC on February 2, 2010, to participate in the DMC Action Network's Technical Assistance Series. The seminar provided practical guidance and tools for developing graduated rewards for youth on probation, promoting seamless re-entry in a DMC reduction context, and creating culture change in a juvenile justice agency. This presentation covers re-entry strategies from a race and ethnicity lens.
