The Berks County Juvenile Detention Risk Assessment Instrument Report documents the results of an eight month test of a draft Juvenile Detention Assessment Instrument in Berks County, Pennsylvania and provides recommendations for modifications and local validation of the technique.  The intent of the work is to advance best practice models for juvenile detention decision-making in the Berks County demonstration site and reduce the local juvenile detention rate.
