NCSL is a bipartisan organization that serves the legislators and staffs of the nation's 50 states, its commonwealths and territories. NCSL provides research, technical assistance and opportunities for policymakers to exchange ideas on the most pressing state issues. NCSL is also an effective and respected advocate for the interests of state governments before Congress and federal agencies. NCSL is called upon to distill and provide information to lawmakers of the 50 states at critical points in their process of reviewing, developing and designing new policies. NCSL has a policy expertise on the issues lawmakers face — from health to environment, criminal and juvenile justice, education, etc.

Juvenile Justice Database

Under NCSL's partnership with the MacArthur Foundation, a Juvenile Justice Legislation Database was developed to bring you up-to-date juvenile justice bills that have been introduced in the 50 states and in the District of Columbia.
