The Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC) is a division of the California Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC), the staff agency of the Judicial Council which has policy-making authority over the state court system. The AOC Center for Families, Children & the Courts (CFCC) is dedicated to improving the quality of justice and services to meet the diverse needs of children, youth, families, and self-represented litigants in the California courts. CFCC is involved with many projects related to family, juvenile dependency and delinquency, child support, custody, visitation, and domestic violence law and procedure. Ongoing projects include developing rules, forms, and standards; providing training, education, and grants; and coordinating research and statistical analysis. CFCC provides courts and court-connected agencies statewide with legal and court services, research, educational and training opportunities, print and electronic publications, and financial assistance.
